Electric powered planes are great for those days when there isn't enough lift to have a good fly with a glider. There's loads of fun to be had with a brushless motor & Li po bateries powering a EPP plane. My main flying focus has always been gliders, however more recently I have been enjoying the flexibility of having a powered plane in my collection.

It's great to have the ability to fly in a range of conditions with electric power. I guess the great thing is that you can still enjoy the aspect of gliding e.g. with electric power you can quickly get some impressive height to enable you to glide and perform some impressive aerobatics.
