- 16/05/08 Dayboro ridge clearing
Had a great day out at Dayboro today with the OzPrey. The conditions were light, but there was plenty of flying. I found a huge thermal which took me up to incredible heights, the OzPrey was specking out. Andrew got the radar gun out and clocked the OzPrey at 104mph (167 kph) at the bottom of the dive. My previous best was 75mph at Shorncliffe, today’s effort was a great improvement..
It was a really enjoyable day, left me with a huge grin on my face. I'm now looking at making a mod of the current prototype to record even faster speeds.
