I’ve been testing the OzPrey at Shorncliffe of late in NNE winds. It’s a bit northerly for this site but gives you the ability to get some good speed on the downhill run. Andrew who is a local flier and proud owner of a OzPrey has recently bought a radar gun.
On the day the OzPrey (Prototype 2 – 720 grams) was clocked at 120kph, only 0.8 difference between Andrew's OzPrey and mine (close). I know that's no way near or comparable to DS speeds, but I'm pretty happy with that for Shorncliffe especially for the front side flying and for its first radar test.

On the day we were getting limited height and clearance from the cliff so the runs were fairly short in comparison to what can be achieved at Mt Mee and Maleny. I’m looking forward to testing the new prototype (977 grams) at Mt Mee where I can obtain massive height and hopefully obtain a top speed between 160kph – 180kph on the front side.
I’m yet to see what it can achieve on the back side in the DS arena, need to practice my DS skills or put it in the hands of a capable DS pilot.
